The Sport Business Chain Conference 2018 will be held in Bucharest between 28 – 30 September and is the largest sport business conference dedicated to the key Eastern European sport stakeholders. It’s a networking hub for sport business practitioners and enthusiasts to meet, share their ideas, develop themselves and grow the sport business landscape within Eastern Europe.

This year Strive Sponsorship Managing Director, Malph Minns, has been asked to speak on ‘the art of sponsorship activation’. Joining speakers from Twitter, the NBA, The European Commission, FC Barcelona and AFC Ajax, to name a few, Malph has been asked to draw on his 18 years of experience to support the development of the sport business sector in Eastern Europe by sharing his insights with sport organisations, sport leaders, entrepreneurs, academic institutions, policy-makers, sportspeople and students.

Speaking about appearing at the conference, Malph said:

It’s a great privilege to have been asked to speak at the event and share the expertise gleaned from years in the sponsorship industry and from the work we deliver every day for brands, rights holders and investors in the sports and entertainment space.

Sponsorship is undergoing significant change in developed sports marketing markets, and these changes will be quickly felt in developing markets. Having the opportunity to see what’s coming will be imperative to success for brands and rights holders operating in these territories. New skills and strategies will need to be developed to keep up with expectations of clients and I hope to share some of these insights with stakeholders from the fast developing Eastern European sponsorship landscape so they are be prepared for change.

I look forward too, to listening to the other talks from the esteemed speaker line-up, and learning from my peers experience.
