Digital Sport’s recent London event brought together Strive MD, Malph MinnsTom Halls (Head of Strategic Development at Gfinity – responsible for the delivery of the Formula 1 Esports Series), Adam Whyte (Head of Esports at GOAT – an influencer marketing agency) and Joe Hills (Strategic Partnerships Director at Infinite Esports – a US business with various interests in esports, including teams and a clothing brand) to discuss why, and how, traditional sports are entering esports, making a podcast out of the insights shared.

This isn’t a new topic, but it is a growing trend in the industry that is fast evolving and warrants close attention and understanding. Indeed, less than 24 hours later and Malph was talking on a panel about exactly the same topic over in Dublin, at the Fan Engagement Conference.
