Digital Sport is a media organisation that facilitates industry connections, delivered via live events, for the purpose of sharing knowledge. Events range from an evening’s Q&A, panel sessions, evening drinks to full day seminars. On the evening of March 27th 2018 they host the Digital Sport London esports special, where panels will discuss two of esports current hot topics, namely the investment of traditional sport into esport and grassroots gaming.

Strive MD, Malph Minns, will be on the first panel of the evening discussing the entry of traditional sports teams, leagues, venue owners, federations etc into esports. He’ll be joined by Tom Halls, Head of Strategic Development at Gfinity (responsible for the delivery of the Formula 1 Esports Series), and Adam Whyte, Head of Esports at GOAT (an influencer marketing agency). The panel will examine who is doing what, their motivations for this, what is being done well and what traditional sport needs to consider in a potential esports strategy.

One of Strive’s clients, GAME, will have Mary Antieul representing them on the second panel to discuss grassroots gaming. Mary plays a key role in the delivery and development of the Belong Arenas, which has seen a recent big investment by Sports Direct.

It’s sure to be an interesting evening. More details, the full agenda and tickets, are available by visiting the Digital Sport London esport special event page, here.
