Whilst these races may be well known to the enthusiasts, new and casual fans sometimes don’t appreciate, and therefore don’t engage, with these lesser known events.

For more non-endemic brands to consider the sport of cycling as a sponsorship option, professional cycling teams need to ensure there are season around fan engagement opportunities of consequence.
